I like all the hunter clones more than MH itself. Capcom has too many dumb mechanics like sharpen, contact damage, and super exaggerated frames on a lot of actions. God Eater and Toukiden feel a lot more slick to play. MH does some things better but I prefer the faster paced more arcadey action from the clones.

IG can spend a shocking amount of time in the air without touching the ground if you know what you're doing, though whether it's the most efficient way of killing something is a different story. Most of the time, all you really need is Red extract to get the better combos, since White just gives a bit of extra mobility and Orange is just there for defense. IG isn't a weapon I use a ton, but I did dabble with it here and there in RiseBreak, and it was fun there with the powder bugs, getting to build up a ton of dust and then detonating it all in a monster's face while also doing the usual IG aerial shenanigans.
