When the fuck did Ubisoft start making such huge DLC for Assassin's Creed games? There's like 30+ hours in Odyssey's DLC.
>>
10 hours of content over 100 hours didn't hook me enough to play and rave about 30 hours of more
>>
>>730955698
with nu-ac. it's amusing the mythological dlc for all three games is by far the best content they have to offer.

>hades presented as sensible asshole with sense of poetic justice
>goes full retard so you can have a boss fight
>>
>>730955698
I detest the entire The Fate of Atlantis DLC trilogy becuase they shove your story aside so we can have more Layla no one actually gives a fuck about. Alexios/Kassandra are just avatars for her in a weird meta move to unlock the Staff.

The DLC combined are basically the size base games should be, and they get to put in more variety.

Just wait until you play valhalla.
I 100% odyssey and all the DLC,and where I say 100% I did every ? PoI in the entire world.
Cannot remember my hours played but it was loads.
I 100% valhalla alone and was like 170 hours, not even done all the DLCs yet.
I got burned out and not played a new ass creed since.
>>
>>730956720
people didn't like it, but mirage really was the great cleanser after valhalla. although I hear the recent update really added a decent chunk of play time.
>>
>>730955698
Nu-AC is such an incredible fucking waste of time. American Truck Sim has more meaningful gameplay
>>
>>730956895
I don't think so. The problem is games are baseline fucking easy by necessity because they have such wide appeal. A difficult AC game that forced you to use all the tools or die would be a very different experience. It's also a shame how many elements just died by the wayside.

I have no issue with valhallas gameplay, what I have issue with is its too fucking big.
I have 100% autismo in games like this and while I didnt 100% shit like collectable flags in older ass creeds I like 100%ing and doing every PoI in open world games. Valhalla added the druid, paris paid for DLCs, then the river raid, mastery, isle of skye and end of the story free DLCs then added a fuckiing new paid for ragnarok stand alone DLC. Its fucking HUGE.
The base game is bigger and has more content and odyssey and all its DLC alone!

In valhallah I have 100% the entire base game map, only have shit like a few fish to collect and a costume in river raid to fully 100% the base game no DLC, but in that time I have done shit loads of the free DLC (isle of sky ties into odyssey, was really good) and still have shit loads more to do. Not even started the 2 paid for DLCs.
I have no plan to move on with ass creed (new) games before I 100% valhalla.

One issue is because its so fucking big I ended up just turning the gameplay down to easy so i could run through it.
>>
>>730955698
I didnt even start this one. Was so fed up with the game by the time it was over, then it wants you to solve a bunch of puzzles just to unlock it. Miss me with that shit.

>mfw atlantis is final episode and it's a fucking dense urban environment in a game that gave the finger to parkour
it's weird how they attempted to add verticality with those hermes teleporters, but it's just awkward to get to them
>>
>>730956121
Holy shit that armour is so fucking ugly
>>
>>730955698
At least they went all out with that one by giving yout three distinct moderately sized areas. The First Blade was just lazy, as much as I liked Darius.
>>
>>730959205
is that a fucking assassin in assassin's creed? jesus, I forgot how much odyssey has fuck ALL to do with the series.
>>
>>730959205
I think that one needed more interactivity based on where you were in the main game. Or at least if you finished it. It takes place at some nebulous point and just exists to secure the bloodline.

Since 3.
Tyranny of King Washington is around 6-8 hours minimum, 15ish if you 100% it.

Then with Origins it started being more than 10 hours for everything.
>The Hidden Ones was a 10 hour-ish epilogue but Curse of the Pharaohs was like 30+ hours.
>Legacy of the First Blade was roughly 6-10 hours per episode.
>Fate of Atlantis is roughly 10-15 hours per episode.
>Wrath of the Druids is about 20ish hours.
>Siege of Paris is around 18ish hours unless you want to 100%it, then enjoy the extra 10-20 hours of grinding the same mission over and over for rebel store points.
>Dawn of Ragnarok is around 14ish hours if you're not 100%ing, 30-40 if you are.
>Claws of Awaji is around 20 hours because you have to hunt down 6-10 targets from each person's side as Naoe and Yasuke before you can kill the main target. Once you beat it then you also unlock another dozen or so targets.

>In valhallah I have 100% the entire base game map, only have shit like a few fish to collect and a costume in river raid to fully 100% the base game no DLC
Did you buy out the entire store and upgrade both buildings? Because I find it hard to believe you're 170 hours in and have done the base map to 100% on top of everything with the River Raids but one outfit when the River Raids alone are 100+ hours to buy everything via Cargo. You can only exit with 500 or 600 Cargo at max Cargo capacity (Which you have to upgrade like four times with Cargo to even reach) which takes anywhere from 40 to 70 minutes to do per run, and items start at like 3000 with there being three or four armor sets to buy on top of all the Ravensthorpe items.

Wrath of the Druids is short even to upgrade all the towers to max capacity, Siege of Paris is a dozen or two dozen hours just to buy out the rebel store, Dawn of Ragnarok wants you cleaning out the arena which isn't possible on the higher difficulties because they didn't balance it well at all (You just instantly die pretty much and have to survive for minutes or multiple waves while getting one-shot), roguelike mode is a minimum of 40ish hours to max out every class, Kassandra content is maybe five hours max, the Isu temple is like two hours max,
>I ended up just turning the gameplay down to easy so i could run through it.
You can be on Draugr with level scaling +50 and you kill enemies as fast as Easy, there's no point in lowering the difficultty; it's easy on every difficulty level. All lowering the difficulty really does is on the boss enemies maybe make you take a few hits less and you can tank hits instead of dying in 2-3 hits (Which you immediately recover because killing something at midgame heals you immediately).

>River Raids alone are 100+ hours to buy everything via Cargo
I cant actually remember as its been years since I played it but my base was fully killed out and I am talking only about the base game river raids, not the DLC.
I have I think it was 1 piece of the templar armour to get. Not done the DLC RR.
The armour is RNG or something like that and I found it but it janked out, i cant remember exactly so had to grind for it again.
I do remember in RR there was a way to save scum or something like that and just keep reloading until some roll you wanted was there. Again cant remember.
I also had friends soldiers to go on RR with me and they would all wipe shit easy. My raid team were good by the time I stopped playing.

As for difficulty it was as simply just trying to kill enemies easy in 1 shot to run through shit.
I actually liked the game and the combat was decent it wasnt until the end when it got grindy I dumped the difficulty down.

Worse thing about this is going back to it I wont have a fucking clue what I am doing and will have to play it for ages to remember what it was I needed to do.
i dont want to be starting a fresh save either,
>>
>>730963980
>The armour is RNG or something like that
You can get one piece per run until you get all of them. I'm talking about Vaghn's store which has like three or four sets of armor to buy.
>>
>>730955698
Are this or the Egypt game actually good? I like the setings, I just don't trust Ubisoft with anything besides Mario & Rabbids
>>
>>730965229
Origins is great.
Odyssey is bloated garbage unless you don't like AC games, then it's okay.
Valhalla is better than Odyssey but still garbage and bloated. At least it's an actual AC game.
Mirage is what AC1 would be like if remade today and is solid overall.
Shadows is bloated but alright. It has some of the best stealth in the series but Yasuke really should not exist as a playable character.

I am talking about the items you need to find in river raids. I checked it out online, there are 3 sets now. The one I was talking about was the st george set, I am missing 1 piece from that. I dont remember about the store.
I remember in base game I needed to get a swordfish (I think it was a weapon) and 1 st george gear piece then i was done with the base game stuff. May be a few other things I dont remember.
i was tackling doing all the base game stuff before moving on to DLC, but I did do some of the free DLC stuff like isle of skye.
I has been many years since I played it. 2021 (got plat in jan 2022)
I know there was more stuff they added after I stopped playing, including the last DLC which carried on the story.
River raids itself was DLC. I was grinding out that when i stopped playing as I wanted to do that, base game rivers before moving on to the DLC, druid first then paris then the free DLCs
>>
>>730955992
tfw I was already burned out on the game when I reached the myth dlc in odyssey
>>
>>730966186
>I am talking about the items you need to find in river raids.
Yeah, it was just the one armor set. There's still stuff you have to buy from the store via Cargo. That was there from launch. They added two extra sets and then an entire other building you had to upgrade that could house up to five builds of armor.
