No Justin Roiland. No buy.

>No Justin Roiland
I might actually might buy

Same. First game was really comical and his SoH is unique. They took him out of the DLC and I never played it, no way can they hit his humour.
>>
>No Justin Roiland
he's what made first game bad

It's weird seeing this game get a sequel. I was under the impression no one bought or played it outside of Gamepass. Can Gamepass alone make a game profitable?
I mean the first game had a DLC campaign and everyone didn't know it existed. Hell, I didn't even know there was a sequel until last month.

You underestimate the sheep mentality of rick and morty fans.

Smiling Friends will probably have run its course by the end of Season 5, right? I wonder if Michael and Zach will take the same course of action that Justin Roiland did and make a video game. Both of them have talked about unique ideas. And I can't see them pivoting to another show immediately after Smiling Friends ends. Any such show would probably be too similar and just add to the fatigue.

I could see them making something that's totally out of left field, like a really grotesque horror game or something. But those, and faux-low-budget aesthetics are a dime a dozen these days, so I doubt they'd follow that trend.

this is the new form of bulletin board marketing
reverse psychology
this looks great and im 40 years old
they do this color scheme to entice OLD RETARDS

The first game wasn't bad. I liked how it kind of felt like an old point and click adventure game in some ways. Everything's a silly character and weird moon logic shit is always happening, and there are a million jokes at the expense of specific people and specific businesses with only the bare minimum of distinction to qualify as parody.
I actually laughed at the Applebees being based on a real floorplan, offering real menu items, and the only thing that marks it as a parody is the subtle addition of Saturn rings around the apple in the logo that you can't even see at a distance.

Isn't that the shitty bowlbo or bip punchy or whatever the fuck?
>>
>>730959150
Bowlbo was a platformer concept Chris O'Neill contracted a shitty indie developer to help him make. They flaked out before long, and he lost interest in the idea. It's vaporware.

Tough Bippy is a Beat 'em up/platformer hybrid in development by the former cohosts of OneyPlays. DingDong and Julian.

(Who, yes, are in fact gay furries with weird fetishes, {Tuba vore, inflation, futa, hypermuscle, and a bunch of other shit.} that's not really relevant, but I know it'll be the next question asked)

It's also basically vaporware, because they're career artists with next to zero technical skills bashing their heads against a project that was way too big and complicated for them to work on alone.

As far as I know, Zach and Michael have only had voice acting roles in video games. Most notably in High On Life. Where Michael plays your knife, in the Bushworld Rick voice, naturally. And Zach plays one of two nearly identical, compliment seeking, door-operating creatures.
Michael is confirmed to reprise his role, and it wouldn't be a surprise at all if Zach has a bigger role, now that he's the new Justin Roiland without the baggage.

They added Ralph Inneson and Ken Marino, but yeah.

yeah roiland was a big draw of r&m and high on life, whether they want to pretend he didn't exist or not. I stopped watching after they dumped him, and I won't play this.

Roiland was the second worst part of Rick and Morty, and he obviously didn't contribute much to High on Life, because the DLC without him was much of the same. He was mostly checked out of the creative process on all his shows and projects right before he got cancelled. I wouldn't be surprised if other people wrote his lines in HoL for him, and he just showed up to stammer and ad-lib in the recording booth based on the outline, and they adjusted the beats to fit the performance he gave.
