I havent even heard of it to be honest, is it good? Outside of the Kung Fu mod, I havent played many others.
>>
>>730971120
It's great! It also gives Max this Neo/Terminator outfit, giving you a couple new weapons, and added more amounts of blood and gore. New weapon sounds to make them have more weight, alongside surprisingly more voicelines according to the summary of the mod. It's wonderful, honestly. Brutally hard though.

I think i was released in an over saturated market and people were ready to scapegoat a game. I beat it in 4 hours on nightmare mode. Its shallow and barebones gameplay but its simplicity is charming in these dark ages
>>
>>730974219
>people were ready to scapegoat a game
i don't really get what you're talking about. i don't remember any too negative press or reviews, none of the "holier than you" faggots were being offended by it, and no overly negative opinions by my peers. it was just some shooter that was quickly forgotten. but it's okay to like it, liking things is good.

It's ultimately a WRPG from a company that has only ever made JRPG-style games and it died a sad death because of that. I still see it brought up every now and again, but it'll never be on the big lists put out by anyone of note because it just wasn't popular enough, despite being made by one of the biggest RPG studios of the time.

I really liked the isolating atmosphere and setting, plus the MS-DOS style interface was rad. Only thing that would've made it better would be Alien-style sound effects for the keyboard, make the typing sound mechanical etc.

I really enjoy games where solitude and isolation are as much if not more of a gameplay feature than whatever is actually in the game itself.

There was going to be a sequel where it doubled down on the grindhouse influence, essentially turning everything up to eleven, but it got cancelled. You could've upgraded the explosive crossbows to fire bouncing sawblades, which sounds pretty cool.

nice. there lots of great mods out there for both games. the gothic modding comunity is great.

if anyone likes crpgs try these:
drakensang 1 and 2 (a normal real time with pause party of 4 game)
blackguards 1 and 2 ( combat is turnbased and often a bit gimmicky, it's from the company that did the dreadful gollum game)

It wasn't the best Fallout due to being linear and having less RPG in it, but it was still a fun Fallout game. If it had the non-linearity of the previous two Fallouts and an even more open-world structure, then it would've been the best of the Interplay Fallouts.

Killzone wasn't that bad really. I found 2 to be more enjoyable than Halo, surprisingly due to it's weighty combat, it's grungy atmosphere, it's weapons, and Colonel Radec.

>Final level is maroon-red, representing that the Helghast are desperate, throwing literally everything they have in their disposal at you to protect General Visari.

Cinema.
