I miss it when companies would take potshots at each other claiming that their piece of plastic computers had better software and hardware than their competitors. It was back when they were forced to one-up each other, and repeatedly make games designed solely to insult the competition.I don't like it how weak and "friendly" the industry became. It meant Microsoft surrendered when they became "too friendly" and scared of exclusives, everybody hating Sony's movie games where their biggest game this generation just so happened to be the ONE exclusive that wasn't a movie game that caught everyone off guard, and Nintendo is just playing it safe with absolutely nothing new to the table, since they backed out of making a dedicated handheld and console, meaning that handheld gaming PCs are the only real handheld devices anymore, all due to the decentralization of PC gaming.I just want the good old days back. When everyone started playing "nice", it died, and will continue to die even further, as companies pander to easily offended SJWs who infiltrated the industry.If a gaming crash happens, what I want emerged from it is active hostility from whoever the new console manufacturers are, even if it's all fabricated business and advertising fluff. It was more fun that way.
