The game ended there, everything after has been fluff and it's clear they had no long term plan. I'm mad we'll never get to see the real arona or find out what the world is all about but honestly it would have been disappointing anyways.
I'll never forget the pinks though, hoshino and mika will always have a special place in my heart.

That's because it's cynical as fuck. They think that GI created the best system because they are the most popular, but they know that their production quality does not match so instead of improving or making a gacha system that makes sense for their game, they instead copy GI but make it just slightly better. CZNs gacha is what, 20% better than GI? Stella Sora has a generous enough gacha but it's so needlessly complex that I'm glad that shit backfired on them. Even Tribe Nine tried to copy the Genshin model but it was too late to course correct.

Picked up GFL1 from the steam launch. No interest in others. I just wanted an alternative to doomscrolling when I feel too lazy to play anything, but it's surprisingly fun and there are definitely kino moments in the story. I'm an old Kancolle sea dog and it's pretty much what I expected KC to develop into, sadly Japs are losers with no taste.

I'd recommend you give it a shot. Just play for an hour and see how you feel about it. The gameplay isn't great but it's about slow account progression. It is extremely generous and you can basically play the game as a non-gacha if you have a bit of patience; the only gacha games more generous than Trickcal are GFL1 and AL. The biggest thing for me is that your dailies are actually fast to clear and there are no weeklies at all.
