people have fancier technology and QOL stuff, but not to the cyberpunk extreme yet.
the ones that are making the cyberpunk leap in the setting are private militias, certain goverments, and demon clans that roam the earth.
but there's also refugees from the demon world that just want to chill on earth or run some shady business, not all demons are set up to kill humanity or conquer earth.

AT is a completely different timeline and with way more changes than just that. Shiranui would have been missing longer than just before TY1 starts. In AT, she's just a regular mom Taimanin. The Corpse King/Undead Lord/Corpse Lord and Incubus King are completely different characters across the three games.
