>>731018050In my experience, I was moving at a pretty comfortable pace up until the Cave of the Dwarves suddenly turned into a survival horror where any encounter that had more than one scarewolf would end in violent rape. Early game was challenging but fair, the midgame was pure torture to the soul, and then as >>731018213 points out, the endgame gives you such amazing options that your reward for being thorough is getting to bully the shit out of the final boss. Overall pretty great experience that I will never ever do to myself again.
