>>731023723I was just playing it yesterday, it's a little annoying you don't get the stat ups you would have accrued for maxing archetypes in NG+, though having the best weapon of every type cancels out most of that frustration, plus each character still gets the stat ups from capping out all the tier 3 archetypes since I just unlocked them to get the weapons.

In terms of gameplay, it was just Persona/SMT without any of the gameplay mechanics or aesthetics that made both franchises interesting or fun. It was just a watered down and mediocre spinoff from both franchises in a generic fantasy setting without any interesting characters.The only ones who shilled for it were Fatlusfags, and turn based autists who keep bitching about how much they hate Final Fantasy now for not making their games turn based and felt like they had to support Metaphor due to some culture war faggotry just because it was turn based.

If the game got a sequel, I hope it develops more of its own unique identity in mechanics. It's a fun game, but it does nothing new, and that's its biggest flaw.
