>A bit past 12am, most of the people have left the building a while ago
>Me working on the computer finishing multiple projects with a close deadline

>No one on this floor
>Decide to just go back in my room, sit down and maybe the power will come back on

>Walk down the stairwell
>Feels like I've been going down forever, lose my breath for a second, sit down for a bit

>Tells me he's working on it, has to turn on the generators, but there was some shit happening
>Asks me to come with him
>We continue down the stairwell for a long ass time
>Finally reach our destination
>We hear guys yelling
>He tells me it's the same guys
>Asks me to call the police
>Alright, I start calling
>The guys stop talking, we hear some footsteps come towards the door we were behind
>The maintenance guy gives me that look and swiftly goes to hide, I do as well

>Other dude starts yelling and runs towards him
>I find some random crap around me and throw it at the guy
>Distracted/messed him up enough that maintenance man is able to knock him out too
>Then tells me we gotta go
>We go though the door and he asks me to just keep the flash on while we find the room with the generator

I was referring to Gone Home. When it first released it reminded me of amnesia, then I played it and discovered there’s absolutely nothing similar about the two games.

That's funny. I put an "evil generator" you have to wrench into one of my Doom wads
I added it so that players have to stick together during a crucial part of the game, because if they don't, they take damage (because of evil)
after an inasion stage, they wrench it to be free of this effect again
