Tacoma has similar mechanics to Obra Dinn where you're piecing together a narrative based on some recordings, but there isn't really any puzzle solving/deduction. I liken the detective portions to be a lot like Shenmue in that regard (minus the cards of course). I still think the whole package is worthy of a playthrough though at least to see the details the devs put into the game

Puzzle Agent is very good. It's basically a Professor Layton game, except the cartoonish thriller story is quite engaging compared to the dogshit Layton plots

The premise is similar to Golden Idol, but instead of seeing the last moment of the scene, you can listen to the entire scene take place, but only in audio and piece together who is who.
