How old is too old to play Kirby? Like if I’m a 29 year old man, am I a total freak and a loser? I just started forgotten land and it’s so easy and childish, I’m just sitting here and saying “what the fuck am I doing?”. Do any other guys around my age also play this?

fun things are fun, kirby games are fun. there's tons of people that play easy games and find them fun, the entire musou genre is for salary men and they're easy as fuck. not everything needs to be dark souls, although hard games are really fun if done well.

And I say generally easy because you still have stuff like Kirby Air Rider's having online multiplayer with competition and the true arena, extra mode, super hard mode, etc. which push it above "baby easy mode".But I think your problem is systematic, OP. Liking Nintendo games isn't that bad at all. I think you should try some other games as well, but going back to my opening sentence about Bluey, you're far better off than that. Don't get me started on Brony culture, that was a huge one for a while that formed around adoration of a children's cartoon series. But there's still games that are very pitiful as well, and this is also something that's a huge problem in Japan which you've probably already heard about since it's basically the main factor behind their sad adult population. There's this popular game over there called "Elfin Clay" which is entirely based around recreating your pre-school experience. It's aimed towards adults and it's like some Human Fall Flat-type game where you collect items to put in your circle. It's literally babyshit, It's the most babyshit game I've ever seen with nothing positive going for it. Comparing Kirby to stuff like that would be an insult.
