Are they bad games, or just bad Fallout games?
>>731048812the fps fallouts are bad unless you're a casual that enjoys following quest markers and braindead combat
>>731048812Fallout 3 is a bad Fallout game but still a good game. Fallout 4 is only a good game if you're a fucking retard
>>731048812Fallout 3 has great art direction, but it's a shitty game. Fallout 4 is a fun game, great gunplay and looter/shooter dungeons.
>>731048812FO4 sucks ass
3 is okay, 4 is bad.
>>731049182Imagine caring about being “hardcore” in a video game when you’ll never have sex Unless you’re making money off video games they are all the same. And even if you do you’re still a faggot for playing video gamesVideo games are simply a replacement for TV if I hear someone say their game is better I instantly know they are low IQ
Seems like someone is starving for (You)'s lmao
>>7310488123 has great world design and is legitimately a good dungeon crawler. Quests are hit and miss, and the main quest is retarded. 4 is only good with survival overhaul mods. The world in Fallout 4 is pretty barren. There are like, 3 settlements in the whole game, the grinding legendary weapons in The Glowing Sea is legitimately awful, and the dungeons in comparison suck ass. The gutting of the leveling system and the dialog really fucked up the quest design.
>>731048812For all its faults I still enjoy 34 is just shit
>>731048812They are bad games by Bethesda standards too. TES is infinitely better by design. They are all simple loot focused dungeon crawlers. However, what Fallout 3/4 do poorly is world design. In every main TES game with Daggerfall onward, you have actual towns and cities throughout the world with actual guilds you can join. F3/4 have maybe 2 towns and no secondary guild system. In 3 your main motivation for power is simply leveling up, guilds and quests offer almost nothing. F4 the power progression is trash hording for crafting. In every other TES game the power progression is based on level and gold as your main form of leveling becomes trainers later on. Not to mention guild quests actually rewarding build specific gear that fit with the general sphere the encompass.
>>731048812Both are good games. New Vegas trannies forced the narrative that 3 and 4 are bad hard.
>>731048812Honestly I think Fallout 3 gets too much flak but it's still a weak Rpg and Fallout 4 is just a looter trash shooter. I tried replaying both but fuck they're boring especially Fallout 4. I hate every faction in Fallout 4 and don't give a shit about any character they can all die for all I care.
4 is good once modded. 3 is fun with quests and exploring but the story feels like it's still in a rough draft stage.
>>731050003Fallout 3 fans hate 4. I'm one of those people and I will not be gaslit Todd.
4 is irredeemable dogshit
I'm doing a TTW playthrough of 3/NV right now (first time trying the mod just to see what the hype is) and am reminded of why FO3 never stuck with me. The exploration is just so dreadful for a large portion of it, where all the broken rubble and underground shit just blends together after awhile. There are some neat little areas (you all know what they are), but for every 1 of those, there are 4+ where its just an empty building or a dungeon crawl inside a building (Chrysler Building, Bethesda ruins, etc.)I want to like the content outside of the main story + quests, but I find it hard to keep my attention a lot of the time.
>>731048812They're average games.> or just bad Fallout games?Fallout 4 is.
