I love how the instruction manual passes off the glitches and bugs as Eggman's diabolical speed traps and states that if Sonic gets caught in one the best thing is to let the timer get to ten minutes so you can start again from the last checkpoint.

It with & Knuckles is my favorite Sonic game. It's not flawless, but I can seriously just go start up AIR and then next thing I know I've gone all the way up to Lava Reef Zone again.

Truth be told I've run through that game to the point that I can become Super Sonic by Marble Garden zone. They never made a special stage as engaging and FAIR as blue spheres, and guess what the EMERALDS DO SOMETHING unlike Sonic CD and Sonic 1. Shoutout to Sonic 2 special as runner up, also fair just not my cup of tea. Sonic CD special stage is kino music partnered with cool parallax effect. If sonic 3 was it, and yes I prefer Launch base zone protypes music. The final boss of 3 is just, YES. You get into the robotnik pod? There's so many fun "cutscenes" in 3 honestly, even if it is more linear in design compared to CD. CD has amazing music if you had the version I had, thats the only up it has over 3 in my mind, despite the Jackson tracks. Sonic 3 and knuckles is a slog and how was i supposed to know you had to PUSH this one thing in flying battery zone to get the only big ring. They really dropped the ball with knuckles having different stages but he does skip the red barrel but you don't get the kino snowboarding sequence. Tails feels like a cheat code compared to the rest UNTIL the marble garden sky boss where you if you solo him as tails ARE FUCKED time over! The Lava reef to Hidden palace zone is just fun easter egg feeling and you fight knuckles finally. Doomsday zone for just going there. Fuck Egyptian ghosts. Shroomland is actually, might be one of the better, less linear levels, compared to Angel Island. 3 would be a perfect fucking 10 in my mind if it were not for the red barrel. Christ I prayed to get to ice cap zone awesome music and never did. I would later come back as an adult after looking it up and just feeling damn. Thats it? Thats how I fucked up?
