Zero. To be fair, I also don't think there are any other Mario games that are better than it.

It depends on your dismissiveness because as far as platformers go, nothing played like the mario games.
But i will say that Rocket Knight Adventures is a game that could tango with mario.

I think SMB3 is impressive technically but it's so slow I don't find it very fun to play. I'd blast Contra: Hard Corps over this any day.
