Woolie/Gloves are some of the most fun I ever have playing in this kind of "mashy" action-RPG. The lack of seasonal changes was a big disappointment for me in Guardians of Azuma, so I was keen to go to normal seasonal farming in RF4, so it was a let down to see that seasons barely matter and the visual difference is almost imperceptible.

I like Venti, but Lest barely gets any time or interactions with her, to the point where the scenes of her talking about what a great guy he was feel pretty hollow. Forte, Dolce, Xiao and Margaret can all stand out among any cast, imo. Their interactions all feel heartfelt and sweet, they've got a lot of dialogue and a lot of little interactions, thoughts and feelings and I'm having a really hard time choosing which one I'll marry in the end. Amber and Clorica are the only ones that haven't grabbed me so far, but apparently Amber's story only gets told if you romance/marry her, so that's a shame.

The story is shorter. I think the characters are a little worse than 4's overall but there's a funny succubus that kind of makes up for it. Also they nuked the dragon loli and detective man marriage dlc, that first half and gays are the main complaints you'll hear from this place. But I think it's worth playing if you liked 4, if you don't click with the 3D jank then go back and play 3, which is prototype 4 with 11 fun wives and no postgame.
