However, as the multiplat sports games started making Sony so much money compared to their Japanese games, they decided to focus on that. Reminder that Persona 5 barely got any advertising from Sony themselves when it came out. And as western market became so big for Playstation(especially Europe where Nintendo didn't really market during NES-GC era, but especially NES-N64 because of USSR etc.), Sony just focused on appealing to western later teens and up. Then just adults.
See, Sony knows they are household name. They don't really need to make fun games, as everyone plays sports shit and F2P shit like Fortnite on their console. I've been thinking about it a lot. TLOU and GOW are heavily tied to the Playstation brand so I can see them not doing it but on the other hand I think they know by now they can never beat Nintendo and they sell a ton of games if they just go the whole slate, release everything eventually on Nintendo. Because the second you start saying "we can't sell GOW on Nintendo, it'd just feel wrong." I think they have to do it because NS2 selling 130m+ is highly likely and it's better to be there ASAP than wait too long. I think just releasing one or two games would be the worst way to go because then everyone thinks everything is coming anyways.

Then it's all the third party games coming to NS2, that will take a whole generation because obviously Nintendo has missed so much. PC is really all you need but going full idort is comfy. The problem with crossgen Switch 2 games though is that you can play them on PC so I've been getting less use out of my Switch 2 than I did my PS5 when I initially got that at release. Both the PS5 and Switch 2 have no good upcoming games with a release date though. Nioh 3 is day and date on PC so I'll obviously grab it there instead. PS5chads are eating better than Switch2chads in the foreseeable future though(the direct will probably change this).
