I've been having a great time with mine but I have mostly been playing stuff I didn't play on Switch 1 or the stuff that's gotten 4K updates. I really enjoyed Prime 4 and Legends ZA despite what everyone else seems to think of them, but those are also available on Switch 1(can't imagine they're a great experience on there). I'd definitely say it's worth it just to play the Switch 1 stuff at not completely horrendous framerates and resolutions and I have full confidence that there will be some great actual new stuff to play this year. Gamechat is also really fucking funny and fun if you have a good friend group, it's entirely replaced discord for us. Something I haven't hear anyone mention about Switch 2 is just how good the online is and how FAST the system overall is. Me and my buds are constantly playing stuff online and since were crackheads we switch games all the time and it takes absolutely no time at all to do so. Hey lets play a round of F-Zero GX, boom were in the game. Hey let's play Smash Ultimate, boom in the game. Hey let's play Four Swords GBA, boom in the game(still blown away that NSO GBA is the only GBA emulator in existence with netplay). Never had any lag or difficulty whatsoever the entire time, meanwhile on Switch 1 even on a wired connection it was always miserable. If you have friends Switch 2 is unironically the place to be right now.
I want donkey kong but I don't want to spend $600 to play it.

I got a Switch 2 for xmas. Wish I didn't sell of my Switch library when I hacked my OG switch. Bought a bunch of JRPGs. Was going to buy the Switch 2 version of BOTW but hearing that the DLC isnt even included made me just skip it and bought TOTK instead. What a stupid fucking decision by Nintendo.
I had a dream where sakurai got to make another kid icarus and it was equally as good as uprising. Then i woke up and played plza. remembering how nintendo would not allow another good game to release on one of their consoles.
