Just finished Rogue Trader and have some thoughts to autistically blog at you.Firstly, I did the Iconoclast Nomos ending since it seemed most interesting. And the ending slides didn't really seem to make sense for half of them. For some reason being Iconoclast seems to mean that the Imperium makes punitive war against you for crimes that the ending slides handwaves at you. Then Nomos cuts the entire Kronos Expanse out of realspace from the Imperium. That seems pretty significant. And then it isn't mentioned at all in the next slides and a few contradict it. Okay then.The entire narrative surrounding Nomos doesn't really make any sense for that matter. The way he is portrayed by the story is in sharp contrast to the setting. He's an accidental creation of the Ctan shard but you taught him humanity so now he's good I guess. I mean, look, even the dialogue box has you calling him your child and he's a good dude now but also he wants all Necrons exterminated so I guess he was evil all along deep inside ha ha. But also he protects people and everything is fine. There's just a terrible way to present that idea.
