no, get VD6 bundle instead or at least VD4, vd is miles better

>>731080452
why do you need one when there are paddles on the wheel
>>
>>731080452
Paddles are good enough.
>>731080513
I can upgrade later.
>>731080602
How is VD4 better besides more Nm? It's almost 100 bucks more expensive.

I need a clutch, a load cell brake pedal and an H shifter, so I can race something that isn't GT3/4/Porsche cup cars
>>

Can I get force feedback within some form of Daytona USA? That's all its gonna be used for

Idk, check your emulation docunentation or ask google if your emulator supports FFB and what brands are compatible with it.

I need good games to go along with it.
Why are there no good racing MMOs?

I need a pair of cute, female feet to work the pedals.
>>
>>731083241
No noise.
More precise, no delay, richer feedback.
Got really cheap considering these things used to be on the four figures.
I think that's all.
>>
I like paddle shifters.

Mostly since I don't need to learn how to clutch.
>>
>>731083241
100x better, no reason to buy anything else if you're even remotely invested in sim racing
>>
>>731080073
>flappy panels
>no clutch
I want a 3rd pedal, and either a dpad or a stick on the wheel panel.

I need a clutch, a shifter and a handbrake to have fun with vintage cars, especially rally ones.
Anyway, I own their Control Box, and it's fine.
>>
>>731083241
to add to this >>731083434, previous tech had weaker torque, like 4Nm top I think. If you have the money, DD can go up to 20 Nm (rounding down).
>>731083728
You could have boufht a cheap numpad an use it a Control box, even print shit to customize the keys.
>>
>>731080737
vd4 is better in every way.
better pedals, 5peak nm, better quality.
pre VD pxn is shit.
and its not more, go to their website instead of Amazon.

zero
Z E R O
reason to buy V instead of VD.
saving for VD6 would be a lot better though cause its a sizeable bump to 7nm peak, and better fidelity.

>>
>>731083894
Numpads don't have rotary encoders, levers, self locking buttons etc, and the Ignition -> Engine start sequence is just nice for immersion's sake.
Anyway, I've mainly got it because it's fun (and quite cheap when on sale on Ali), but I'd also say that it's decently useful on games like Assetto Corsa Competizione where you can very easily run out of buttons (especially if you don't have a dedicated GT3/F1/HY wheel).
>>
>>731084042
I think pedals are the same, actually

If I already own G29 with pedals and H shifter, should I just upgrade to RS50?

if I were to play racing sims with a controller like this would that make me better at driving irl

the fuck is rs50?
get moza or pxn vd
>>
>>731085083
For a toy? Yes. In a real man with a car, why would I blow my funbucks on a gay imitation for children and poors with no whip?
>>
>>731085185
controller like what?
>>
>>731085219
Well, it's a wheel also made by Logitech, that's why I'm asking. It showed up on this site when I set the price range to $500.

>>

You didn't beat the game
>>
>>731085378
maybe looks at some more in depth reviews
maybe Logitech is worth it for you if you want it to be familiar software side
>>
>>731084998
You can easily find adapters to use the pedals or shifter with other wheels if you're upgrading piecemeal.
>>
>>731085378
all I know is if you want to upgrade your pedals get simsonn x from aliexpress for around 250 euro.
>>
>>731084158
every second with my hand off the wheel is a second where I'm not calling my race engineer a nigger
>>
>>731084998
Jumping to DD is the logical step. Just check reviews, maybe it's not your best option for the price range.
Basically what >>731085708 said. If you are invested enough to still using a G29 after all these years, it's not like you'll regret it, you already know that's your thing.
>>
>>731084213
vintage race cars, road cars, drifting, aka all the actually fun things that aren't just gt3 on a tilkedrome to gain imaginary epeen points in a ranked mode
>>
>>731086235
so not actual racing then, huh
>>
i don't get why people are enamored with gt3
>>
>>731086427

aero
same spec
endurance racing is more skillful
multiclass is more fun
>>
>>731080073
I do need a clutch pedal, actually.
>>
>>731086427
they're stupid poopheads
>>
>>731084042
Just in case, V10 ultra is a DD base. I say this because I'm confident they use the same pedals.
>>
driving in a sim is more enjoyable than irl because irl you own a shitbox which will malfunction for the slightest of reasons and the roads are full of potholes and stupid pedestrians and you must obey the speed limits
if you dont obey the speed limits youre a fucking stupid animal
real cars suck deal with it
>>
>>731086092
Oh, right, it's a bit more expensive, but I guess I'll go with it. Logitech generally makes solid products. The reviews seem positive too, most people praise the build quality and force feedback and apparently the software is the biggest issue, which doesn't seem like a big deal for me. I already use Logitech software and it seems just fine for me.
And their TRUEFORCE seems to be a nice thing.
