People love doing SCP historical revisionism. Every time someone's like "old scps used to be REALLY creepy horror blah blah" I roll my eyes. Yes, I also find it annoying how every new article is an overwritten trojan horse for a mid tale or beating a long-dead continuity horse but old-school SCPs were a paragraph of barely comprehensible technobabble or some shit about how their OC was totally cool and awesome and killed 3 billion D-Classes with every experiment and needed a room full of blind guards because he'd kill you instantly if you even conceived of looking at him and also the Foundation couldn't even kill him because he was so awesome
