I uninstalled shortly before getting out of jail at the beginning of the game. It's just insufferable, pointless dialogue, bland art aside from the ui and characters, and boring traversal. I went in hoping for anything similar to Hi Fi Rush or muse dash. All I got was confusion over how a hyped indie game in development hell for several years came out to be such slop. All the negative steam reviews are correct.

BUT even if none of the characters get you to give a shit about them through most of the story, the last chapter is peak. And throughout the campaign, you're littered with set pieces that give you an impression of where the devs wanted the game to shine.If that overall doesn't sound worthwhile to you, the arcade mode is contrasted with loads of polish and refinement. It's a two-button rhythm game, so it has an obviously low skill floor, but the skill ceiling is surprisingly high. And you can hear the soundtrack yourself to see if it'd be worth replaying songs for better scores, but I can say that's the case for me.
