Kingmakers grounded feeling is superior but its still underdevelopedA lot of side areas are super worthless especially midgame when another +2 or +3 weapon on the pile isnt exciting like in the first 2 chapters, and many side areas dont have more going on than that. The reactivity to your choices and alignment isnt as obvious as theyre told mostly through text dumps in your throne room and doesnt feel as impactful as the mythic paths. Recruiting Vordakai should feel as impactful as working with Zacharius, instead its more of a cool footnoteWotR as the sequel also has obvious mechanical improvements and more character options. Anyway Owlcat needs to make a new fucking pathfinder game, hopefully something more grounded, something like Age of Ashes (with a lot of rewrites) Giantslayer or Ironfang Invasion

>>731176787If you've played the Pathfinder tabletop game you should have a decent enough idea of how to build your character even if the vidya isn't a perfect 1:1, but if you haven't then it might be worth at least looking up some basic tips for the class you want to play. There's a fuckton of different options for feats and multiclass/subclasses and such but many of them are extremely mid or just plain bad while others are pretty much mandatory for certain roles. Whenever you're choosing that sort of thing make sure to click the little box that shows you options that aren't available yet, many of the good ones have prereqs so it can be good to know ahead of time and plan in advance.IIRC there's a character that lets you retrain and change many of the options you picked so its not the end of the world if you end up disliking a choice you made but it costs a fair amount of money to use.
