With the extra attention they're giving this anni, it kinda gives some hope that they might actually do another anniversary title this year or maybe even something out of pocket like Puyo Puyo 8 or a proper RPG spinoff. I probably shouldn't be too optimistic, though.

Since Puyo Quest ends up being a part of the anniversary event game, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if by chance they make a custom character stand in involving (you) play an actual part in the game or something equivalent. They do have the framework for it in a sense setup as odd as it would be but how that would work for said playerbase, idk.
