Play Atelier Resleriana
It doesn't have English voices, so no.
Before the thread dies. Atelier Sophie 1 also has English voices.
>>731151073I would be at least mildly interested otherwise, but I'll probably never play it because it has some connections to the gacha.>>731151546I'm surprised there's any intersection of people who play Atelier games and people who prefer English voices in Japanese games.Voice acting isn't really a deal-breaker for me in any circumstance. I prefer the original language, but I don't really care that much even if it's stripped out entirely or replaced with angry raccoon noises.
>>731152862>because it has some connections to the gacha. The gacha connections are pretty tenuous. You meet Resna who has the defining attribute of "knows a lot of alchemists", there was some big monster that attacked the capital that was stopped by Resna and a few others including Totori, and there are the overarching villains that appear in both, a group called the Polar Night Alchemists. Honestly, I never played the gacha and it really didn't matter.
>>731152862I mean, Atelier...a french word, games that are inspired by Europe in aesthetic or art style, names that often sound western or are inspired by western names (Sophie Neuenmuller, Drossel Weissberg, Solle Grumman etc)...more than other franchises like Persona, Akiba's Trip and Like a Dragon/Yakuza, it's easy to say that Atelier is perfect for English voices considering the names of the characters, obvious western influence and the fact that the games don't take place in Japan or anything. I'm not saying that Persona, the Akiba's Trip games and Like a Dragon games have bad English voice acting or that the English dub for those games isn't appreciated (people including me like the English voices for those 3 franchises, with rare exceptions like Yong Yea), I'm just saying that Atelier and English voices works really well and better than other Japanese games. Every game after Atelier Firis doesn't have English voices, so, I don't plan to play them if that's the case.
I started replaying Ryza since the DX version was a good excuse to, but it just makes me wish I was playing a better Atelier game. I just don't care about any of that trilogy's characters except Ryza and Patty.
>>731153540>Sophie Neuenmuller, Drossel Weissberg, Solle GrummanBy that logic you should be listening to the games in German, not English.
>>731153821I just started Ryza 2, why should I care about Patty? I just hatched my government issued mascot character.
>>731151073Their game is great, but fuck the gacha game itself. Would fuck Rias
>>731154364Because you can pick her up with one hand.
>>731153821That's pretty much the same experience I had with Ryza. It's not bad, but it's not especially good either, and it's not quite what I want from the series. The mechanics spoiled the experience for me moreso than the characters, though.
>>731151073I did, but I like Yumia's game more, though.
I don't get it? How are you supposed to play any of these games for more than 20 minutes without having to stop to masturbate?
>>731155683By playing Escha & Logy.
>>731155683Whoa, calm down...Atelier games always have some degree of fan service but they aren't on par with something like School Girl Zombie Hunter, most Senran Kagura games, Omega Quintet etc...objectively speaking those games have more fanservice than any Atelier game, your joke/post works better with those games.
>>731155804Instructions unclear
Mimi nape.Mimi shoulders.Mimi sideboob.Mimi love.
>>731157105Her butt too?
My Sophie 2 Very Hard save is clocked in at 18 hours so far and I just beat the Ice Dragon and got Diebold. Help.
I want Lulua DX since it's guaranteed they'd rightfully add Mimi as a party member.
My cute petite wife Corneria
The game felt like a wasted opportunity to me. Bringing back all of these characters and voice actors just for them to sit around doing nothing. The core group wasn't really that important and it was already stated that they would go off doing other things like they were mercenaries. Just lean into the gacha game's bullshit and have a wide cast of characters to choose from, even if they don't show up in cutscenes. The character spread is weird because you have someone like Rias who specializes in wind damage, but theres no one with a skill that only does ice. Also, making the titular character DLC was dumb. At least the game was better than Yumia.
>>731158804>At least the game was better than Yumia. Is it? I feel like while Yumia wasn't a very good Atelier game it was quite a fun open world JRPG.
>>731159334I get why people don't like Yumia but I enjoyed it. And Lenja was made for breeding
>>731159681Yumia's weird dog...
>>731159854She's not weird she won't bite she's just shy...
>>731160173AHHH SHE'S BITINGI INSULTED ONE OF HER FRIENDS BY ACCIDENT AND SHE'S BITING A LOT
>>731151073Is that a new one?
>>731160413It's the newest one, yeah. It's in the same universe as the gacha they made, but it's just a normal Atelier game.
>>731159681Yumia's NPCs were funny.>FOUL WITCH, USE YOUR DEVIL MAGIC TO CREATE AN ABOMINATION THAT KEEPS OUR SOLDIERS FROM GETTING WET WHEN IT RAINS>EVIL MONSTER, USE YOUR FIEDISH WAYS TO MAKE A WAY FOR OUR MEN TO PASS WASTE RATHER THAN THE CORNERLike, how do they even get up in the morning?
>>731160305I'm sorry anon it was nice knowing you
>>731160454Feels like this is kinda of call of duty of jrpgs every year there's a new one do they never take a break for production
>>731160667They actually had two in 2025, Resleriana and Yumia. I honestly don't know how they do it, because they're not huge and the games are very different.
>>731151073
>>731160667Atelier games are relatively low budget and reuse a lot of assets. Most of them are not some grand project but its one of the closest things we have to the 90s jrpg experience these days.
>>731160824I can't believe Rias is straight and takes the initiative in her relationship...
>>731160467I played the JP version and the NPCs could be pretty mean to Yumia but I don't remember them going that hard
>>731160732>I honestly don't know how they do itTeam Ninja helped them out that's how, they've already made most of the assets for the mobile game for example
>>731158456Check the commerce district shops, they start stocking items with better traits at around that point like the +100 max HP one
This game would've been Abe approved
>>731153540Since I only play them in Japanese(even skipped out on Ayesha originally) can anybody tell me which games have atelier being pronounced 'atleer' by the english voices? Remember it being made fun of.
>>731161393But Rias doesn't even get pregnant...
>>731161605She does in the upcoming sequel Atelier Rias & Slade: The Pregnant Alchemist and the Plan for Repopulation
>>731161865>Baby is born>Rias asks to bring it to the Atelier>Everyone thinks she's gonna make her child a gift with alchemy>she sticks it in the duplicator>"I want a big family, but I am NOT doing that again!"
>>731161596At least Atelier Shallie, Atelier Sophie and Atelier Firis.
Esty is the only 40-year-old I'd have sex with.
I don't know what she is but I need more of this kind of girl
>>731163059I think Rias says she's a rabbit.
>>731151073I did play itIt was okay
>>731163059Are leggings and belly shirt proper archeologist wear?
>>731163916she needs to get funding somehow
>>731151073Not yuri
>>731154364She has a funny attack where she spins
>>731163916She's an expert she knows what she's doing. Rias on the other hand...
>>731164037You can get your yuri fix with the other games. And Ryza's ASMR with Klaudia...
>what if we made ryza unsexy in ryza 3What were they thinking?
Rias is so sexy, Slade is so lucky
>>731151073>malepass
>>731161297I've been checking occasionally. It's moreso I've been spending a ton of time crafting. Got a great set of patterns to fully fill out a Red Neutralizer and I did one loop to get some baseline quality on items goings. Thankfully the dupe cost for almost everything is pretty low. I only had to remake the bracelets which I could perfectly copy.I chucked like 10 lightning bombs at the dragon until he died. Was very fun.How do I know which Pavilion requests are not repeatable? I've been waiting for a promotion for ages.
>>731151073I don't really like multiverse "everyone is here" setups, sorry
>>731158456I forget how long it takes to find the good traits for it but status ailment inflicting traits are some of the best. With how the ailments stack in this game getting any stat down effect to 5 stacks decreases the stat by 100%, and debuffs do damage to all auras except dragon auras. Eventually you get multiple traits that inflict multiple random debuffs each and this becomes a powerful generic support item for pretty much anything.
>>731165618Escha & Logy, Mana Khemia 1 and 2, Atelier Iris trilogy...
>>731164764>Rias' grandfather had to watch these two fall in love while trapped in the body of a fairyHow would this make him feel?
>>731166643>tfw started with the mk games and had no idea they were part of a bigger series for a good whileThink Ar Tonelico was actually my first introduction to anything atelier related though with the extra costumes they had in that
>>731165618You sound estrogenized.
Sophie's grandma is hot
>>731165884Just found the Illusion Vale (late?) side area I can't really explore yet. It's packing 4k HP mobs I somehow managed to kill on my first try. These flower nodes have some great traits. I'm gonna have to find a way to move these around.
>>731156598the rest of the thread proving this post wrong immediately lmao
>>731168127>sophie and plachta aren't allowed to have panties anymore>but sophie's grandma can wear an outfit that covers just as much as panties dohow did she get away with it?
>>731168581Not really? I don't see people posting screenshots or webms, and the character designs that are sexualized present in the thread (Rias, Escha, Marie) simply aren't on par with the designs of Senran Kagura games or the fanservice in School Girl Zombie Hunter. Atelier games are often rated T and in the case of Senran Kagura for example, well, those games are rated M for the most part.
>>731169785it's a turn based rpg, what kind of screenshots and webms do you expect to see?
>>731170038Admiration of physics.
>>731170038I fucking loved alchemy tetris.
>>731168974>>731151073I'm already tired of this fucking trend where they cover cleavage up with a thin strip of cloth or something else. This has got to go.
>>731170367You can put her in a normal bikini.
>>731170038Something that ''proves'' that Atelier has content on par with this gif. Nothing unusual with someone making an incorrect statement of course, but yeah, like I said, Atelier games always have some degree of fanservice but it's never something on par with Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus or even Omega Quintet, some Atelier games are tame enough for an E10+ rating such as Atelier Marie and Atelier Annie and the games that are rated T are tame compared to other games with the same age rating, and that's fine, not everything needs or should have fanservice on par with Senran Kagura for example.
>strongest>sexiest>cutestMimi is too powerful.
Would you isekai to a world doomed to Dusk if the girls were this cute in it?
>>731170735I don't think many Dusk girls are cute aside from Wilbell, green Shallie and salt loli, so no.
>>731170853you forgot the cutest of them all
>>731151073I will. But not on full price unfortunately.
>>731170961I thought she was cute until there wasn't really a satisfying conclusion to her jealousy and sister issues. Then that kind of killed the character for me.
I've tried Rorona, Sophie, Lydie & Suelle, and Ryza. Farthest I got into one was 10 hours of Rorona. Maybe I just don't like this series.
>>731151073lewd pose
>>731170735I would do anything for my wife Ayesha
>>731171578That's a pretty broad cross-section of the series. If you didn't like any of them, yeah, it's fair to say you probably don't like the series. Thanks for giving it a shot, anyway.
>>731171578Sophie 2 is really good. But I'll tell you that with Atelier games you'll want to give them a little bit more time to cook so all of the crafting and combat elements open up. I bounced off Ryza the first time I played it because I thought I didn't like the combat but it was just because there were a bunch of elements to it I hadn't unlocked yet.
>>731172214I want to like them since I like basically every other long-running kind of niche JRPG series and I also really like slice of life anime, but for some reason I just don't enjoy the games that much.
>>731172367This anon >>731153821. It's pretty baffling how few items you have access to for the majority of the game. I forgot how bad Ryza 1 is about that.
l
>>731173083A tsundere ojou-sama with a fat ass would turn me gay also.
>>731168186I got some specific white flowers from that area and I did a thing. Oops.
>>731173257
>>731172624Yeah, I know how that is. I'm also really into slice-of-life anime, but every time I try watching Aria I sputter out a couple episodes in. Same kind of thing, I guess.
100 posts!
No.
>>731174010I've burned so many hours doing alchemy to get as strong as possible as early as possible in the game
>>731174010This 999 loop took me about 30 minutes. Super Success made this so easy and I was able to remake materials for loop items I found using said items or others I was able to make with them instead. That side area made this significantly easier than Ryza.Where's my S rank though?
Isla a cute too
>>731175061Wow, what a profoundly lewd outfit...
>>731174580rank is a combination of trait level and quality
>>731172743In a way, her panties look better in Atelier Shallie.
>>731174082I feel like Totori spends a lot of conversations stuck with that expression, especially when Melvia or Rorona are around.
Totori wearing a bikini.
>>731174159I liked the idea of a portable atelier in her game
>>731151073does it have time limits?
>>731177982no. They're never going to do time limits again.
>>731167395
>>731178058I really hope they go back to the original formula at some point. I'm not as fond of the direction the series has gone.
>>731178058ah that's a shame, Atelier games without time limits makes them just another generic jrpg. its like Dead Rising without time limits, it became just another generic zombie game
>>731178058I played with a time limit in Marie. Ended up sleeping through the final year or so of the game too
>>731178436that's why rorona had the best implementation. Forcing you to space everything out a bit by splitting the game into 3 month chunks lets you actually craft more of the mid game stuff instead of rushing to the end and having way too much time left.
I want to lick Mimi's dfc
The most endowed female protagonists of Atelier. If you want at least medium breasts, even large breasts depending on the character, play their games. Maybe Rorona too of course, she could be bigger than both Totori and Meruru even in her own game.
>>731151073No. Fuck Gust and fuck you.
>>731182383Escha has quite a lot of variance in how she's depicted. Sometimes she's massive and sometimes she's itty bitty.
>>731182489The Escha of Atelier Firis is younger than the Escha of the Dusk games as you probably know. From what I've seen, Escha has less variance or inconsistency compared to Meruru, she really is a character who looks kind of big sometimes and other times her chest looks small.
>>731182480Is an alchemist not allowed to wear boyshorts sometimes?
>>731182383Resna and Valeria are protagonist too and you can't dismiss them because they're from gacha game.Long story short, looks like Gust wont have small breasted proragonist in a long time.
I like Yumia's ass
I was really stoked to play it, bought ultimatr edition, then discovered that all the dlc was coming out in waves. Now that all the DLC is out, I still want to play it but it got put behind DQ7 reimagined and that shit is going to take me FOREVER
>>731182751The last game that had protagonists with small breasts was Atelier Lydie & Suelle, that game was released in 2018 in the west, and since then, every protagonists has been at least below average but not a character with a small chest, so yeah...there hasn't been a game with a small breasted protagonist in several years.
>>731183521After Ryza, small-breasts will be relegated to secondary characters, not the titular alchemist.
>>731183872Yeah, probably.
