My ranged attack shouldn't break because my character had to face a 10° angle further right.

Monk actually shipped with this in ARR, they had Fracture as a filler skill which let them realign their rotation to match their demolish timer. The fail state was a misaligned demolish timer, which would result in a missed tick if not corrected, the recovery was using fracture to fix it.Instead of making enochian a passive and letting black mages not worry about dropping it, they should have made, say, scathe reduce the Enochian cooldown timer by 10s per use or give it a 50% chance to reactivate Enochian on cast. So if you DID drop it, you could scathe 1-3 times and get it back instead of just waiting.These are smaller examples, obviously i'd consult with people for a more robust 2-3 GCD recovery rotation on most jobs.
