Can anyone explain to me the motivations of mindset of the individuals here who are deeply personally invested in seeing as many copies of this game being sold on the Switch 2 as possible?I'm glad it will be available everywhere but would be happier knowing people weren't buying the worst possible version currently out there. The game really sings at 60fps and these muddy textures do the game no justice. So... are the people desperately pushing specifically for Switch 2 sales just trolls or what?

All of S-E's JRPG releases after the Switch 1 released have sold better on it (or PC) than they ever did on Playstation, which is why they're doing more and more multiplatform releases as the standard.The only reason they went all in with the PS5 exclusivity* deals at the start was solely due to Japanese inter-corporate loyalty.
