>>731767320Not necessarily, it depends on what Creek's grandparents are and what races they ran. If she runs the same races as her legacies, the overall parent will get an affinity boost. Just try to win as many G1s as possible, it's not super important. What you want is good blue sparks, a turf pink spark if you're lucky, and some good white sparks as a bonus. But you're after the unique ability first and foremost, so you compromise on the rest as much as you want.

You're getting hung up on affinity when each G1 shared between grandparent/parent is only +1 to your overall affinity score. What's more important is if those characters actually have good affinity with the character you're training. You can only beef it up so much through shared G1 wins.Try to have parents that win a lot of G1s, but don't overthink it. You want the turf sparks and power sparks, so go with those. But affinity is useful, use the affinity calculator to help determine what parents are gonna be the best fit overall because better base affinity means higher chance of inheriting those turf sparks on inspiration.With how little time there is between each CM, most people can't afford to be doing extensive breeding programs with the grandparents and then the parents. You use what you have laying around for one half, and then borrows for the rest. You can borrow a turf parent as one of the grandparents if you want giving you probalby a superior option over the umas you have laying around. Borrows will do half the work for you. Most people just make one-two quick and dirty parents if that and then use borrows to supplement the other half. Same thing goes when making the parent itself.
