Rebirth is literally one of the best games ever made. Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix is still the king of action RPGs and forever will be. KH3 is kino and has the best superbosses in any action game. FF shouldn't go back to turn-based, they already have tons of turd-based franchises alongside annual DQ releases. FF was always the flagship IP that aimed to push the genre forward with new and innovative gameplay for every iteration. Going back to TB like admitting defeat, it's the road to stagnation and death.
