im quite a lot of chatter in various communities from people saying how they bounced off/couldn't get into nioh 1/2 but Nioh 3 is hooking them.Almost all of the people that actually explain what is it that's working better for them mention either the Open Field being more fun to explore than the missions or Ninja style + only starting with mid unlocked has allowed them to pick the game up without feeling overwhelmed, or both.I think it's actually quite impressive that team ninja has (seemingly) managed to pull this off while still retaining all of the complexity of the previous games. These newer/more casual people can get through the game on ninja tonfa autopilot while people who want to engage with the systems can have EIGHT movesets (2 different samurai weapons + 3 stances, 2 ninja weapons), 4 guardian spirit skills, yokai magic and ninjutsu's, plus the samurai weapons have more skills/techniques on each weapon than ever before.

How the FUCK do you do the jump from the hay bails onto the roof? I can get into the hay pretty consistently, but videos all have him jump out and UP from the hay, but I can't seem to get any height, just end up bopping my head. Do you need to make a short character in the character creator or something?

I went in expecting to hate ninja but it's fine, and my favorite weapons are tied to it so it's my current go to. That said, everyone saying ninja is just easy mode is hilarious. Samurai shits out infinite damage if you understand the basics of Nioh, as anyone that isn't new does. Samurai is a nuke compared to ninja with every weapon I've tried.
