I gotta say that Double Dealing Character is actually fun, does the whole "risk your life to get more resources" gimmick better than UFO since you're absolutely in control of whether you fuck up your run for an extra bomb piece or not. Still gotta learn how to get bonuses better, I only get bomb pieces so far. The early bosses are filtering me harder than Subterranean Animism ever did for some reason, that stage 2 fivehead attack is evil.

All I remember about Mahou is that in stage 2 you could literally just weigh down the fire button and walk away from the screen for 90% of it. The heckin pogchamperino art makes it a TRUE hidden gem though!
