Honestly I love it mostly because I'm biased, I love provence (am french and it's one of the best looking region we have) and there are so many references to french stuff in it. That and the crontrast with the depressive af valen makes me ignore a lot of issues like the bad LODs or the bloom
also toussaint the town clears anything in the base game

What I remember from witcher is it had very stupid foliage that ruined the graphics. The exaggerated wind didn't help. Maybe they fixed it in newer versions.
