So I lost my 3ds once, or it was potentially stolen out my draw.After reporting it lost, Nintendo asked for my serial number, which I had from the original packaging.I assume if they can ban a console for piracy etc., they can ban one for being lost or stolen.The original owner might not even report it though.I'd remove the accounts from it if you are keeping it... But you would really make someone's day if there's a way to identify it and they know they can collect it again from airport lost and found on their way back through the airport on return
