Why should it get a sequel? For one thing it didn't sell that grandiose. Measly one million units on a big userbase like the Nintendo Switch's? That's disappointing. Even ARMS sold better than that and it did it while being an early launch game while Astral Chain wasn't an immediate release.

And the crux of this game is that its nothing special. The gameplay can be satisfied by other action games and the characters are shit. All these characters are shit. No one wants to play as underwhelming awful characters.

They should've stuck to their original idea and had a bunch of pokemon, having a preset team of 5 with 2 skills each is too restrictive.

Easily one of the most underrated games on the system but it's so held back by being stuck at 240p 30fps
