This reminds me how my mom's cat was euthanized. Vets said they could either do it inside—we wouldn't be allowed in because of COVID—or out in the fucking sweltering heat of the car. It was my mom's call and she chose the former, and I'm still pissed about the entire situation. I made friends with an outdoor cat I frequently saw roaming the streets of my neighborhood. Whenever he saw me he'd always start meowing and come running up to me.
