I was a chronic liar for most of my life and it felt like my entire existence was coming apart at the seems. It’s actually an exhausting life. The shift to telling the truth wasn’t easy but it was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. Because lying is hard to keep track of. You tell one lie and then you tell another lie to someone else and the you realize you need to keep your story straight and it is impossible to do so on compounding lies over decades.

No he didn't. He had tech demos that legitimately were more impressive than the final products. This is literally every studio. They show off incredible shit at E3, and then realize they can't actually deliver on it while maintaining requirements to run on consoles. Then they remove shit to make it work. That happens all the time. Famously, Deus Ex Human Revolution had no NPC AI when it was first demoed and the devs had to play pretend and make it look believable when they showed it off. They still managed to deliver the game as promised in the end.
