>follow main roads just outside starting area
>going into tomb just off the side of the road near NPCs
>find a Dreugh shield worth 2550 gold
>find an ebony helmet worth 10000 gold
jesus christ... fuck this game and everyone who defends it

there's nothing fun about endgame weapons and armor just laying around without any effort
>>
By simply resting outside you will spawn at least a couple Dark Brotherhood assassins who will die in two Frostbite spells, and they carry ebony darts to sell for thousands of gold along with one of the best light armor sets in the game hand delivered to you.
Morrowind has no difficulty.

This is poorly implemented expansion content. Literally everyone tells you to the expansion delay mod.
>>
>>732208520
Doesn't that only happen if you have one of the DLCs enabled? Disable it if you're really that anal about it.
Besides, even if you find valuable items, it's not like you can sell them to merchants for that price unless you use mods, or you looked up a guide to sell it to one of the exploit NPC merchants.

I don't know, man. All these complaints sound self inflicted, but you all blame the game instead.
>>
>no effort
You killed a Hunger for that helmet. Also most players won't even enter the shitty-looking tombs until a quest sends them into one or they read online about all the amazing loot hidden in shrines very close to Seyda Neen.

Consider yourself lucky or just drop the loot where you found it if it bothers you so much.

>hidden in shrines
hidden in tombs*
The Mentor's Ring is also hidden in a tomb just past the start.

I don't get it, what's the issue? If you are using heavy armor or shields that's a good find, but some high quality unenchanted gear will
not change your power level that much. If you are not using it, you can only sell it for a fraction of its listed value unless you are playing as an Imperial with mercantile as a major.

Most people who complain about this had foreknowlege of the game. Op got kinda lucky but doesnt know how powerful items can be. Not even close to endgame items.

Get over your inferiority complex already. It's been over a decade.

>You killed a Hunger for that helmet.
A nerfed version with 50 hp compared to 170 hp of actual hungers.

zero lies detected in this collage btw

High gold value items aren't as valuable as they appear to be. Selling anything at that rate is basically impossible because of how broke all the vendors are.
>>
>Morrowind
high tier loot available whenever that can break the game
>Oblivion
loot is scaled to your current level when received and then becomes useless after a couple levels when enemies get too strong for it, including artifacts
>Skyrim
loot can be useful but is "balanced" so that it does less damage than a sword you made at your own local smithy

none of these are good

Gear in Morrowind is worthless without putting enchantments on it, and almost every base game magical item is very tame on what bonuses it provides.

You'd think after all these years Bethesda would have gotten better at designing open world games.

Shithesda games are actually bad to mediocre, you think they're good only because nobody else has used their formula.
>>
>>732208520
That's not part of the base game, it's supposed to be a lead-in to the Tribunal expansion. If you want to avoid that, you probably shouldn't enable the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions until you're ready.

whats the best way to experience TR? can I go at level 1 or should i wait a few?
>>
Have all the NPCs have AI voice lines recorded for them yet?
That's the real mod.
>>
>>732209841
Considering how many dialog responses in Morrowind are basically wiki articles, I think that'd be more annoying than anything.
>>
>>732209724
level 1 is fine
