Red pill me on this series.I was thinking about getting into and don't know where to begin. There's like a million different games.

>>732217257Stardew Valley adds in a really boring dungeon crawling that you pretty much have to engage with if you want to upgrade tools and farming equipment and complete the community center. It's easy enough to where it just takes time, but it's also braindead enough to where I don't see how anyone actually finds it fun. But also Stardew can be modded so this isn't an issue if you don't want to go through 100 floors swatting at the same bats and slimes over and over (and then do it again but even more boring in the desert area).
For some reason I could never really get into Stardew Valley. But both the Grand Bazaar remake and Trio of Towns (if you have a 3ds) were really fun, I'd recommend those.

I do get why he did that. I think most modern gamers just need to kill something in a video game, something Harvest Moon was able to get away that zoomers can't really understand. I wonder if Concerned Ape put it in because he himself thinks you have to kill stuff in games, or if he put it in reluctantly because he knew if he didn't let you kill something people would call it boring.
