The most unnerving thing about this game is the intentional jank. Like the director and voice actors played Oblivion and were like "this is what games SHOULD be!"
I seriously hope it doesn't portend what's in store from future generations of game devs.

Considering the fact that it takes somewhere between 6 and 10 years to make one of those games, it's literally impossible to point to any trend or current tech and say "that's going to be in the next game!" I'm not even sure that Cyberpunk 2 will be played on traditional hardware and not just beamed into our heads through a brain implant by the time it comes out. It's 2026 and it takes a good decade to make one of those AAA RPGs because devs can't reign in their autism and make an iterative sequel but instead want to reinvent the fucking wheel with every game.
