Death Stranding was a fine game. Put in over 200 hours into it, got all the achievements, and got my 540 SSS ranks. Probably my favorite game ever unironically. Made me cry like four different times, twice I genuinely bawled my eyes out like a little bitch after his first breakup. Wasn’t even crying over the game itself, the game just randomly made me think about my own life and uncorked something inside me. The directing and production is superb but, yeah, the overall story is fucking bonkers, to put it nicely. It’s a shame other people missed out on the experience, but then again a game for everyone is a game for no one. I’m just glad I got to experience it myself
