Am I retarded or is veteran just unbalanced? Like numerous missions I've had to straight up or get lucky with right. And the one shots seem to get more ridiculous as the game goes on.

Specifically at that part where you make your way back to the farm but have to get back to the coast for heli evac. I must've died like 500 times again and again, trying over several days. It is just impossible to get to the chopper on time, not only because of enemy respawns, but you also have like a ridiculous 3 minute timer to do it. Which mission are you on yet?

>>732228393If you are on console, yes, it's hard and unbalanced.If you are on PC then no, Veteran is fairly balanced you just need to have better positioning. I replay CoD4 on Veteran on PC every few years because it's perfectly fine on PC and I always have a good time, I don't even bothered with anything below it.Prone more often, do not linger in locations for more than a few seconds otherwise enjoy a grenade in your location, use a full auto accurate rifle and a secondary rifle do not be using burst weaponry or pistols, be constantly pushing up because many areas have infinite respawns until you pass arbitrary lines in the sand, etc. It's all about being aggressive and knowing the best spots to hold out for a bit before advancing again.WaW is far far harder, MW2 has some awful levels, and BLOPS1 has some load loops. Once they got to MW3 they learned to ease up even on console because MW3 was a joke on Veteran.
