Who else is hyped? Also, this is confirmed to have full VR functionality and capability with Switch 1 VR games, and will do so with Switch 2 games with VR support going forward.
>$50 for the NSO expansion pack plus $30 for cardboard>just to play the worst nintendo console (that fried people's retinas) nah, i'll just keep waiting for DKR to be added
>>732238341Can't wait for Zero Racers to get dumped so I can play it on Red Viper.
>>732238341Any news about playing the games without the headset? Like I'll fucking buy the thing, but I don't want to wear it.
>>732238532You're absolutely right. They should have gone with Game and Watch instead for Switch Online.>>732239079Nope. It was confirmed to require the headset. There could be a chip inside of the plastic or cardboard that tells the Switch 1 and 2 to enable Virtual Boy mode. If it's a light sensor, then it could theoretically be possible with Labo, but only on Switch 1, but it's unlikely to happen.
>>732238341Is it actually in 3D at least?
>>732238773this but d-hopper
>>732238341Doubt it. It's probably only going to be 3DOF like the Labo's VR set, because it looks like it's just a piece of plastic in the same way the Labo was a piece of fucking cardboard. The thing is, I think it can still be successful, despite having that same limitation. They went with the name VIRTUAL BOY for a reason. It's an appeal to nostalgia, and the Switch 2 is powerful enough to not only run old games, but run them in stereoscopic 3D. If Nintendo's smart(Questionable given recent moves), they'll do some DolphinVR shit and just have their old games rendered in 3D and stretch out their whole library, sell some plastic, and maybe add an upcharge on a subscription with what's essentially a plugin. They're clearly trying to appeal to nostalgiafags with the NSO controllers. Allowing them to use those same controllers on a VR set where they can enter the worlds they explored as children is going to be like the most premium of crack in a crack house after a crack famine.
