I haven't seen any diablo clone do "Diablo 2 style" in like 15 years. Did you mean "Diablo 3 style"? Color vomit VFX, screen clears, cooldown-limited spells, builder-spender mana, WoW action bar hotkeys, defensive/dodge button?

Trailer feels a little bare-bones compared to what was shown/talked about in the devstream.

>events transform world state and can even remove towns
>player can ally with evil factions
>players can build/recruit their own settlements to make up for what's lost
>world is increasingly transformed by player decisions/actions, with the land reflecting the history of what you've done
>players are persistent and can travel to other player's private worlds or keep to online worlds
How well the world transformation works and how interesting the changes are is going to be a major make-or-break point in a game like this, I feel, so it should have been advertised in the announcement to tease attention.
