It's supposed to run like shit so that you can have your computationally expensive rendering techniques, that's the entire point of the remaster. If you just wanted regular oblivion with higher fidelity assets, install the GOTY edition from like 2008 and any one of the dozens upon dozens of texture and model replacers.

Also they changed how leveling up works so it's less retarded, and also for no reason they changed some of the voice acting to make it worse.

I think the only bug I ran into were some npc's not being chained up properly. I know there are some more serious ones. I like to be able to install and uninstall games when I feel like it. and the size of Oblivion means even if I transfer it from my external SSD it takes forever.
