20 years ago they would have already done an exponentially better sequel from the ground up.Budokai Tenkaichi 1 was kusoge.

It had that early PS2 charm but that's about it. Sparkling Zero looks hype visually, but I'll believe it's a proper sequel to 3 when I see beam struggles that aren't just cutscenes and a roster that isn't half DLC. Hell, even Burst Limit had more soul in its animations than some of these new trailers.

I hate that budgets mean we don't get yearly sequels anymore. Even the DLC was lame and we're only now getting a slither of something interesting and it's shit that was already in the previous game.poster in my screencap wasn't too far off, some faggots will cry doomposting but look where the game was and still is now. I would prefer that. part of the benefit of that is they have to sell the new game so they make a new story mode, new modes, redo old modes to make them better, add in all new costumes, rework the AI. Whereas DLC, they don't feel as much as a need, just add in characters. They won't fix the shitty story mode.
