i remember watching a parade for mexican independence day as an actual toddler whilst visiting an aunt and peeking out a window of an apartment that looked like this

with furniture yeah but the ligting, the carpet, its so similar to those old apartments in central mexico city

ive rarely ever seen this aesthetic , or i guess "lighting" of the old spanish houses in mexico city. Like legit only in a singular kids movie made by mexicans whove actually seen how they look like.

There's also been a case of a "poet cannibal", a guy called Jose Luis Calva Zepeda who was molested and prostituted as a child and he killed and ate a woman inside one of those central mexico city apartments. The apartmertment had no electricity or running water, and the windows were covered with plastic.
