>>732246959It's just an RE: Village situation. The devs obviously didn't know how popular she'd become from her initial reveal and part in the demo, so we went in expecting more from her. FF16 has a whole bunch of other character and story related problems anyway.

All popped in, are given the bare minimum of identities with promising character direction and good writing, then they're given maybe one (or two if they're lucky) side quest chains and are completely forgotten. It's been awhile since I played a game that felt so long yet everything about it so blatantly underutilized.

Let's be honest, she was hyped up because she was hot and was the focus of the second part of the demo, so like Lady D. in all the trailers, we all latched onto her. Geruda itself was only a boss fight, so they probably thought less of it during dev time. On a side not, the main villian was fucking boring. I wish the game focused more around the whole politics of its world being mixed with FF lore, instead of immediately being only a rebellion story that happens for 90% of the time in secret from the nobles before it kicks into overdrive later on. The intro started so strong and then the story took a nose dive, only kicking up for the short spectacles of the boss fights themselves.
