Assassin's Creed is a weird series man.I just played AC Odyssey (my second AC game) and everything about the main story and even the side quests was genuine great and a lot of fun. But as soon as they have to include the Isu and Abstergo nonsense, my eyes glaze over and my Peloponnesian War/heroic epic story gets overwritten by some purple hair tumblrtard's illuminati girlboss fantasy narrative. Even fighting mythological creatures felt completely in universe and fun, but as soon as its associated with Isu nonsense I have to roll my eyes. It's like everything that isn't the DLC or Abstergo scenes is written by a completely different scene.
