The only achievement I'm missing is max affection with a partner, which I will probably get after I stuffed enough eggs in Josee.All in all I had a very good time and I'm looking forward to the DLC.I do hope that the game does well enough for a Code Vein 3 in the future.

2 is most likely a flop and will kill the series but I had fun with it. I was mostly disappointed with it as a sequel but I didn't hate my time with it. The connections between CV1 and 2 are dumb and the new setting for 2 is worse in my opinion. The initial world building and setting between all the bloodlines and internal politics had potential but the games actual plot is pretty shit. The game does a really bad job at explaining its setting along with the factions at play and in the end none of it really matters because the central plot of the game works outside of any established world building anyway. going around and killing the heroes is entirely irrelevent to how the games world functions as a society because you only need to focus on the resurgence. it just feels like one of those situations where shift wrote a bunch of cool stuff but either iddnt have time or had no way to implement it into the game. still a better setting than elden ring though.

So I just beat Lyle and his story felt a bit underwhelming? Especially the end of his past segment. Also does the hub get any music at any point? It's fucking deathly quiet. Hell I'd say one of my complaints asides the localization, performance and the spats is the lack of ambient sound or music.

I don't know how you're supposed to beat some of these bosses "normally". They never stop attacking and have very short windows to get damage in along with insane tracking and a ton of attacks that are just 360 bubbles that hit you even if you're behind or to the side of them.At some point I just ended up stacking as much Vit/Fortitude/Balance as possible and didn't even bother dodging. I just go in, trade hits, and heal afterward and can usually outlast them even if I only have 2-3 heals left at the end. Just beat Valentin and this hasn't failed me yet.
