Do you enjoy puzzles in games where they're not the main focus?

>Puzzles generally tend to be inherently unthematic, and I place quite a lot of value in that (consider: ability to solve Towers of Hanoi doesn't distinguish between legitimate and illegitimate access so it makes absolutely no sense as a lock)
>Puzzles often use standard game controls or display the puzzle as in-game objects (as opposed to dedicated interface, which could among other things e.g. show the clues you've found instead of having to play inventory tetris to find the relevant paper scraps): often the main difficulty is interacting with the puzzle, not the logic of the puzzle in itself
>Since the puzzle tends to be "annoying" to solve for aforementioned reason and others (such as rules not being explained anywhere, so you would first have to experiment in order to figure out the rules, and then figure out the solution of the puzzle), the best strategy for solving the puzzle tends to be brute force. Solving the puzzle through brute force isn't in any way satisfying, but then, solving it "properly" also makes you feel stupid for having wasted your time
